Position: Sales Assistant (Stone & Tile)
Marble and Ceramic Corp (MCC) is a leading supplier of high quality Natural Stone and tiles in Australia. Due to the rapid growth, we are hiring new sales staff.
We are seeking the immediate start of an energetic sales assistant with interest in stone and tiles for our state of the art showroom in Banksmeadow, NSW 2019 and Springvale, VIC 3171.
Your principal responsibilities will be:
- Provide advice for selection of natural stone, tiles and other related product
- Prepare quotes and follow up leads in accordance to the sales target
- Service clients over the phone and in the showroo
- Assist in continuous improvement of the showroom presentation
Your application will be further supported by:
- Sales experience in building/construction industry (natural stone knowledge a distinct advantage)
- A focused approach, committed to assisting clients achieve their desired outcome
- Ability to work within a fast paced high pressure environment
- Qualification in interior design, landscaping, building or a related industry
Computer and numeracy skills:
- Microsoft Excel (Intermediate)
- Reading house plans and calculate dimensions
- Familiarity with Point Of Sale Software such as MYOB or Reckon is an advantage
