"The Hive"
The Australia Garden show 2013 is an event held at the beautiful Centennial Park during spring & celebrates Australia’s love of gardens and unique outdoor spaces featuring designs by young, upcoming & student designers. Marble & Ceramic Corp was lucky enough to get involved as part of contestant Kate Burgess’s stunning display ‘The Hive’.
Kate’s installation was part of the segment for ‘Urban Gardens’ that showcased designer installations representing small, urban garden spaces. Each designer was asked to present a conceptual garden of similar size to a small balcony or courtyard you would find in the inner city.
‘The Hive’ took home a silver medal & came second in the People’s Choice Award. Marble & Ceramic Corp were proud to supply Kate’s garden with Trend Brilliante 245 glass mosaic tiles which were used in her pond.
