Carrara Marble
Carrara marble has been used since the time of Ancient Rome. It is a type of white high quality marble, quarried in the city of Carrara located in the province of Massa and Carrara in the Lunigiana, Tuscany, Italy. Bianco Carrara classified in C, Bianco Venatino and Stauarietto are by far the most common types with more expensive exotic variations.

    Carrara C Marble tiles is the most well recognised marble and is similar to Carrara Gioia Venatino in colour; white with variations and veins of grey but they are more prominent. Carrara C looks stunning when used in either a mosaic or checkerboard tile in combination with Persian Marquina on the floor or walls. It combines well with many materials and colours, used in small or large quantities in a residential or commercial setting. Carrara is popular choice for step treads especially in federation houses. It also looks stunning when used as an internal entrance floor tile.

    Carrara Gioia Venatino Marble tiles is a white marble with variations and veins of grey. This marble looks stunning when used in conjunction with cooler toned materials such as stainless steel and rectified white gloss tiles. Combining a plain dark wood or tile adds contrast to the stone, allowing it to really stand out. Common used include bathroom vanity counters, bathroom wall and floor tiles, kitchen bench tops, splashbacks, floor and wall tiles.
