What’s the difference between wall and floor tiles? Most tiles can be used for floor or wall, but there are some limitations that you need to know to ensure your successful project.
The difference between wall and floor tile may come from their technical difference or simply the visual difference. Ceramic tile for instance, has a thickness and condensation that are suitable for wall. Stone tile with 12 to 13 mm thickness is suitable for both wall and floor. On the other hand, paver is only recommended for floor with 30 mm thickness and tumbled finish. There are some other options such as porcelain, glass and stone mosaic that are suitable for floor and wall.
