Lithofin KLF

Crystallisation Fluid

A special LITHOFIN-Product formulated for the professional user. Lithofin KLF is a ready-to-use crystallisation fluid for marble and other limestone. Contains a highly active composition of flurosilicates.

The lime containing components of the material are chemically transformed. These chemically altered minerals harden the surface and can easily be polished steel wool. The natural polish is renewed and the surface sheen is restored.

Technical Data:
Density: ca.1.0 g/cm³
pH-Value: ca. 4
Flash point: n.a.
Appearance: liquid, whitish
Odour: almost odourless

Field of Use

For machine polishing (crystallizing) dull and matt flooring surfaces. Produces bright sheen and hardens limestone, marble and artificial stone surfaces. Not suitable for granite and other hard stones, as well as resin bonded artificial stone (agglo marble).

Directions for Use

The surface must be completely free of sealants and care products before being treated. Shake container before use. Evenly distribute a small amount of product. Treat sections of 10 to 15 m². Do not allow the product to dry on the surface. Polish immediately using a slowly turning heavy machine (ca. 40 kg) and a fine steel wool pad.
Please Note: Do not splash product onto acid sensitive surfaces such as parquet, wood, etc. Immediately wash off any splashes. Avoid splashes on polished areas, since they will leave dull traces. Do not leave machine with productsoaked pad on the surface.
Important Recommendations: You must test the product prior to use. This test will also allow you to evaluate the products effect on the slipperiness of the surface. Special care should be taken on the borders of the treatment areas so they will not be visible later on. Slight scratches can be removed by polishing. Heavy scratches (if you can sense them with your fingernails) can not be completely removed. Light dull spots can be polished away. Spots that have been dulled significantly cannot be completely removed, the edges often remain visible. The smoothing of the surface, however, prevents them from becoming more visible through dirt. Engineered stones with additives from hard stones can not easily be polished.
Coverage: ca. 10-30 m²/litre
Working Temperature: +15°C to +25°C

Cool, closed and dry. Can be stored for up to 12 months. Do not use the product, if it starts flocking.
